Catering
The Hatchery offers a variety of catering services for groups of all sizes and can prepare both multi-course dinners and family-style meals. We aim to create unique and memorable experiences tailored to your desires, and while we specialize in making intimate tasting menus with a modern twist, we're happy to help you create any event you can imagine. The Hatchery is also available as a personal chef service for customers interested in more consistent or specialized catering, and can always accommodate any dietary restrictions or preferences you may have.

Special Events
In addition to our other services, The Hatchery also cooks for special events. We've worked alongside the Martha's Vineyard Ocean Academy (MVOA) in previous years to create pop-up tasting menus on board the Shenandoah, a tall ship in the Vineyard Haven harbor. These donation-based dinners helped the organization raise money for their youth sailing and outdoor education programs. We also catered a wedding on the island in 2022, and are happy to cook for larger parties. Sustainability & Community Outreach
The Hatchery is committed to using organic ingredients and buying produce from island-based farms and businesses whenever possible. Alongside the physical and environmental benefits of cooking with these products, local sourcing allows us to support our community while creating high-quality, farm-to-table dishes. In addition to our focus on sustainability, we also endeavor to give back in other ways, especially by organizing charitable events such as our Shenandoah fundraisers.
